Ginger's Bilingual Horses
The beach is absolutely incredible, and the horses are more than willing to cooperate. With the sound of the waves rolling and crashing to the shore, the warm spray of the sea being blown over the beach, and the beautiful sights as you travel along the beach, this is truly magical. The adventure goes through a coconut plantation with palm trees towering high over your head, birds fiy through singing to each other. Venturing further along the path, you make your way into a thicker area, where the light from the sun shines through the trees enhancing the colors of the vegetation. This entire trip is truly enchanting.

El Faro Lighthouse
515 feet above sea level, Mazatlan boasts the second highest lighthouse in the world. The steep climb to El Faro is rewarded by a spectacular view of the city and coastline as well as Mazatlan's harbor.
Mazatlan's lighthouse began to shine by mid-1879. The lamp had been handcrafted in Paris, containing a big oil lamp with mirrors and a Fresnel lens to enhance the light. Since the light was static, in the distance it was often mistaken as a star. By 1905 this lamp was converted to a revolving lamp. Today, the 1000 watt bulb can be seen from 30 nautical miles (60 km).
